We need to be able to let clients upload multiple copies of certain documents into one spot, but it looks like we’re limited to only one file per upload box. From the format of the file upload drag and drop box that’s set up, and the fact that it even says “Drag & drop files <–(plural) here…”, I believe this was the intent from the start. However, when we try dragging more than one file into it, it says “Number of files selected for upload (#) exceeds maximum allowed limit of 1.”
For context, our office is creating a workflow for intaking Will and Power of Attorney drafting instructions from clients, and part of our process is to review copies of any prior Wills and POAs they might have. Our ideal process would be to have just one spot where our clients can drag and drop all of their copies. However, with the current framework if we want to do this we either have to have an individual file upload question for every single prior document copy that the clients could conceivably upload, have our clients merge the files together into a single file (which most of our estate clients aren’t tech savy enough to know how to do), or ask them to re-scan/photocopy their documents into one file. None of these options are convenient for the client.
If you want to give users more flexibility, in the settings tab for these file upload questions you could even add a setting that asks if you want to set a file upload limit amount, and by what amount.
Yes, please!
