Allows for workflow backup/restore and sharing between accounts.

Hi Sterling! We can help do this for you now on the backend. And we will add this as an admin functionality in the future, too!

I’ve been waiting for this feature a long time. I appreciate the back-end support but only one of us working on a workflow at a time is a huge inconvenience.

This functuonality could eventually open up a Documate Marketplace where users could buy/sell workflows.
Like App Store, WordPress, Shopify, etc. A strong ecosystem can help users get started quicker by licensing 3rd party solutions then customizing as needed.

@Sterling Okura YES! We have plans for this, too! At first, workflow export/import will be within a single account. Then, we will also allow workflow sharing between different accounts. We can currently do this on the backend for you. In the meantime, we’re working on a front-end marketplace where builders can buy/sell from each other. If you want to be featured on v1 of the marketplace, let us know!

@Dorna Moini a marketplace could be amazing!

@Sterling Okura @Chris Workflow sharing within a single account is now possible! We will leave this request open to account for sharing among different accounts, but more information on version one of workflow sharing can be found here.
@Caitlyn (Gavel Team) @Dorna Moini I have an additional suggestion on top of what everyone else has mentioned. As a means of adding another layer of protection to our workflows, how about the option to import/export workflows as external files? Maybe something as simple as a CSV or Excel file? I don’t imagine it would be too hard to organize and format all the question types, answers, and logic triggers into a spreadsheet.
This way we could export our workflows and store them on an in-house device or server so we could manage our backups on our own if we so choose, then re-import them if the one on the online platform ever breaks or gets accidentally deleted.
This looks VERY similar to what I was asking for - an ability to “render” a workflow to somewhere external to allow a workshop review with relevant stakeholders and allow “high-tech” squiggly lines to be drawn on paper or smart-board screens to thrash out optimum ways to develop the required changes. I could very easily use a spreadsheet or similar to do this.
I’d love a way to be able to export the workflow as a Word document that I could use for my not-so-tech-savvy clients to fill out directly so my staff could then enter the info into the workflow. I know it would likely need some tweaking and some of the great functionality/conditional logic would be lost, but it would be a great start.
